Looks like we will be looking for a right-back following Bradley's statement to the court over his 2nd driving ban in 3 months,

http://www.lincolnshirelive.co.uk/news/lincoln-news/imps-player-bradley-wood-caught-161034

Guess we now know (at least some of) the background to his non-appearance on the retained/released list.

With Muldoon, Hawkridge, Walton, Power and Wood going. Beevers injury still pending and McCombe filling an emergency roll it will represent quite a different squad from that we started last season with and I don't see us carrying anyone.

I still see us looking to bring in at least one, probably two defenders, and at least one more winger before the transfer window closes.

Think Danny has said he wants a right back,  a left back, a central defender, a central midfielder, a winger and a forward.

Its a real shame, he came on such a lot under the Cowleys, always gave 100% from day one though

Agreed.

Trouble is, there must be something we don't know about yet in view of the FA's inquiry/investigation into him.

Bradley Wood

The FA are having a blitz at the moment on betting activities so I bet it's something along those lines

Quite right to if they are, been far too lax for too long imho.

Look at how long a ban that twerp Joey Barton was given recently.

It's hard, because on the face of it, the excuses look reasonable.

1) Morning after. Didn't realise I was over. Lesson to us all. Very sorry.
2) Thought I wasn't banned. Innocent mistake. Misunderstood.

On the other hand (and this is a wild unsubstantiated stab in the dark); drink problem. Associated issues (e.g. poor disciplinary issues, lack of self control). Can't stand up for falling down. Tip of the Iceberg. No smoke without fire. A coincidence is only a coincidence if it happens once. etc. etc.

I always admired the 'heart on the sleeve' attitude, but also cringed at some of the challenges and subsequent consequences.Wanted him to pull it together, but never entirely convinced that he could.

18 months for someone near the end the career, wonder if he'd got longer if he'd been younger?
Suppose the only way we'll find out is if someone younger gets done and how long they get.

3PM SATURDAY IS FOOTBALL TIME AND NOT FRIDAY 7.45PM, THURSDAY 8PM, MONDAY 7.45PM, SUNDAY 4PM OR ANY OTHER DAFT TIME SKY AND CO COME UP WITH!

Good job Barton played football for a living, if he was selling his tips he would have starved.
