I think it's time everyone with Lincoln City in their hearts stop the rumourmongering and do what we have all done for the last ten years and pull together.

For the record, the trust board comprises a group of nice hardworking people who support the club wholeheartedly. There is no "inner group", no hidden agenda, and one aim only - to help trust members and the club in general.

The trust raises funds every year through subscriptions, gold members, events and dinners, calendar sales and so on.

The trust wish to maintain a 25% shareholding only so that, if it ever happened, a significant proposal at an AGM / GM / or EGM could be considered by all the trust members. The bottom line in that is that if the proposal is good for the club, we'd go for it. It if wasn't, we woudn't. On a rare occasion, a trust supporter has asked that her shareholding was passed to the trust for a modest sum. Of all the money the trust has raised for the club over the years this was felt to be a small departure from our usual policy but good for our members. This was done only to help in the "25%" policy.

No doubt this reply will promote another range of conspiracy theories but I, like the rest of the trust board, will ignore them and crack on with helping our trust members and the club as best we can.

By the way, it's our race night tonight in the Trust Suite. Please come along - they're great fun !
