I am. I thought he was given the bullet quite early and much like TGD, I thought he was beginning to shape a more youthful side which needed some time to blend together before we needed to expect performances. Although he is to blame for generating it, I did feel for him that so many people bought the hype though you can argue that on paper, the hype was justified with some of his signings (Gall aside) last season though his bigger purchases (Sinclair & Oakes) just didn't perform.
Anyway, a few more ...
Allegedly one of the main reasons why Jackson got the bullet was our poor home form and performances and one of the reasons why we're staying up is our 'stellar' home form under Sutton.
Sutton's averaging 0.02 points more per home game than Jackson did in his time here. We did actually score more goals per game under Jackson at home though we did also concede more per game. Sutton's GD is -1, Jackson's was -4.
For the same amount of time spent at the club, Jackson's side scored more goals, conceded more but did have a better goal difference of a whole goal. Points wise, Jackson's side had more points after his first 15 home games than Sutton did.
The away form comparison is dire. A miserable 0.87 points per game for Sutton and a respectable 1.33 for Jackson so near on half a point more per game.
Goals wise - we're scoring less goals per game under Sutton whilst conceding more and the goal difference is 8 goals worse now than under Jackson.
