Well, for myself (ever the optimist as you well know), I must say I'm just a tad weed off with it all. As Brian said, following the Grimsby game, I really thought we would turn a corner and kick on, better results a virtual guarantee, higher crowds leading to much better atmosphere etc. etc. But, what do we get? Three successive defeats against teams we should have been beating if we really do have any intention of winning promotion!

Something, somewhere or someone or a combination of all those things has gone very, very wrong and I am beginning to think that until and unless we have a total change from manager upwards, then we'll rot in this hell-hole of a league for ever more, until we get relegated again. For the first time this season, I am not bothered about going to a game that I could go to and that is Macclesfield at home Saturday. I already know I won't be able to get next Tuesday Vs Gateshead because of a school event, but I ain't too bothered about that either. Nuneaton away on October 4th or Telford home on October 11th would appear to be the next games I might attend. The very same thing happened last season, when I witnessed the home defeat to Aldershot on October 12th and didn't go again until the Boxing Day defeat to Grimsby.

If the crowd is more than 2,100 on Saturday, I will be most surprised.
