GT (OBE) the Club's Patron says "that's why I think the role of director of football doesn't really work in this country."
Keith Roe's letter (page 51) says "Few clubs with around a £3m turnover contemplate the necessity for a director of football." Very interesting reading, surely they both can't be wrong!! Inexperience of the Board has now cost the Club thousands of pounds in compensation and little chance of success this season. New blood and experience is urgently needed on the Board if we are to move forward and achieve the aspirations of 2010.
Redclanger thinks that speaking about oneself in the third person is a little strange.
I wonder why honestimp would have kept a copy of his letter, and it must have been a very long letter, if it took until page 51 for mr roe to get to his point!
