I take it that Forest are still top. Do you have a realistic chance to topple them and gain promotion? The result last weekend against Blackburn would suggest you would have a chance of staying up if you got promotion. Good luck against City.
I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that we would stay up, if we manage to gain promotion at the end of this season and everything in the National Div stays about the same. I think we can take on most teams now and beat them on our day, and I would expect to finish a season in the Nat Div mid table or just below.
Yes, we still very much have a realistic chance of winning this league, we need Forest to slip up of course, but they have a very difficult run in to the end of the season, much harder than ours I would think, and they have to face Sunderland who have already beaten them in the FA Cup. If they do manage to go unbeaten and drop less than 4 points in their run-in, then salute! but if I were a betting man I would think that there is going to be either a point in it or it will be decided on goal difference. If they were to win every match from now to the end of the season that means they will have dropped only four points all season and not lost a match, if they do that they deserve to go up, but I don;t think that will happen. We shall see!
