TGD I'll be honest with you and say that I list you as a board sycophant, keep telling yourself that everyones doing great manager/board wise if it makes you feel better but for me I do not agree, Jacko has promised the earth and delivered booger all, the board had the opportunity to go forward, improve the team and go for it in a poor league and have not taken it. At the start of the season Jacko said he would have a small squad and give the youth a chance (once we had apparently won the league by xmas) instead he has brought in his favourites and farmed out the youths, only Lenny has played regular possibly too long, Hone has been injured which is no fault of Jacko, Clarke has played sporadically due to this 4-3-3 formation which game after game hasn't worked, Petulia who was virtually free has been given the cold shoulder after starting well, Pembleton and King have had little chances. He has until recently persisted with the lazy (and probably overpaid) Oakes, Gall was clueless, Sinclair has had 2 good games(also probably overpaid) , Elding has been poor and to boot lost his head (are we still paying him?), Brown has done well, Burch can do half the job well, Kovacs has been inconsistent but mainly poor, Horsefield has been ok. I know he could not of kept MacDonald but things have gone downhill since hes gone. What Jacko has been involved in has not worked, I'm pointing out for what he must be earning we should be up there and one step ahead of the likes of Morecambe who have not got the same budget. KA seemed to get players who would work hard for the team and fight for every ball, Jacko has got players who can 'peel a carrot with there left foot' but not put a tackle in. As for the board I feel they've got to reaccess the current financial situation and see how they can get back the disallusioned fans and retain the season ticket holders or we'll be joining the likes of Morecambe, Barnet and Accrington Stanley in the wages stakes which won't suit any of these big time charlies at all.
