Yes well, that all makes up for the fact were paying him a fair wedge for no improvement. Don't think Schofield's accomadations cost would of been that much on Doddy Park either.

I just don't get the kerfuffle with the Jacko accommodation. Steff mentioned elsewhere that his hotel bill is less than the cost of a relocation package. Additionally, Jacko's Yorkshire base probably makes it easier for him to go out and watch games in the evening with a shorter drive home. I'm guess it's also not a unique occurrence: Keith Alexander still lives in Dunholme for example. I'm guessing Schoey probably had some accommodation when he worked at Walsall and his expenses at Cheltenham probably have something thrown in: he won't be commuting.

If you want top quality staff you have to be prepared to be flexible in the package you offer them. Lincoln does not have easy access to the motorway network so that's always going to be a negative both for recruiting players but especially manager's who I'd quite like to go and watch opponents and scout for players.

If Jacko is top quality how come the team is mediocre mid-table? I bet he had a decent wage budget compared to the rest of the league.
