TGD I'll be honest with you and say that I list you as a board sycophant, keep telling yourself that everyones doing great manager/board wise if it makes you feel better but for me I do not agree.

I'm intrigued that you have a list!

Do you ever take the opportunity to actually read what I say or do you just assume that you know what I think? I'll say it again in case you haven't heard it before.

I will support the current Board until we have anything that I am convinced is better. I think that, on the whole, they have done a good job and I trust them not to shaft the fans or bankrupt the club (which in my experience is very important) but they are far from perfect and they make mistakes. Hopefully, they learn from those mistakes - thats just about all we can ask for, in my opinion.

The facts are that the Board brought in a manager that the vast majority of us thought was the best on offer at the time. They backed him with a decent salary package and then, in the summer, with a good playing budget. They have also worked hard to provide excellent off field facilities and support.

None of us can now argue with a straight face that Jacko has delivered the progress that this investment should have and the Board, clearly, have a choice. Back the manager that they have invested in, put this season down to a learning experience and give him more time to get it right. Or they can sack him, see who is available and start again. Personally, I think Jacko's record elsewhere, his relative success last season and the belief that he will come good would mean that I'd like the Board to back him.
