Will he come back to haunt us and have the last laugh ?
He'll probably score lets hope it's not decisive.

Is Waide a common forname by the way, don't think I have come across it before.

Thats the joy of our manager mate, him and Rowe should be of been regulars in the team but for whatever they weren't . Having worked together before you would of thought they would of both known about each other how each other operated. I get the feeling he's having second thoughts about some of the summer signings as well. He does have a habit of falling out with players maybe its the comes across to people dunno????

Think you have to blame the parents for his forename mate, trying to come up with something different lol! One of my mates always got his name wrong and called Fair Waidehurst!!!!

When Gary Simpson was in charge at Macclesfield, Waide Fairhurst played 20 times and didn't score a goal, his record at Lincoln wasn't much better (2 goals in 11) apart from the two goals against Forest Green so that is 2 goals in 31 games. It's obvious that our manager didn't get the best out of him but I don't think Fairhurst would have done that well anyway, 3 goals in 11 games for Macclesfield but only 1 goal in the last 9 games, both Tomlinson & Burrow have done better.

He didn't start that many here, they clearly didn't get on so was amazed he came. I thought Rowe was the bigger waste if I'm honest.

Thanks, Steve. Those stats make me feel a little happier.

Didn't offer any threat at all today.
Wonder why Simmo signed him last season, he would have known his limitations, starnge.

According to Hortin and Thomo, they didn't have a shot of any note until well into the second half. That's two home games we've won with ten men!

True. Shame we didn't get the hat-trick Vs Torquay eh?

Waide Fairhurst scored a goal yesterday at Kidderminster which might have rivalled Charlee Adam's superb strike for the goal of the weekend.

I used to speak to Waide regularly before each home game asking him why he wasn't playing and why Simmo says he wasn't fit or didn't know where to play him, and Waide would say that he was as fit as any of the others and Simmo should know where he plays best, but Waide said the problem was with Simmo as he was willing to play regularly but Simmo just wouldn't play him and he was to put it politely getting fed up with it.

Again proving the theory that Simmo hadn't a clue when it came to man-management!
