Bradford Park Avenue for a bit of nostalgia, or Boston, Gainsborough, Grantham for local interest, or AFC Fylde who literally still play at the back of a village pub.

Perhaps not. I reckon we'll get another decent (easy?) home draw.

That's a dodgy one I saw the game against Torquay on Saturday on  BT Sport and they played really well winning 4-2

We drew them at the same stage about three years ago, at their place. I went, we drew 1-1 and Joe Anyon was sent off. We lost the replay!

They have Paul Clayton centre forward, Karl Hawley (ex Torquay) left winger, & Tom Shaw an attacking midfielder who was I think top scorer last season, they all seemed to be very decent players,
Then also Dan Bradley on the right wing ex Grimsby, and Dan Gray with his long throw, and of course a City favourite Jake Sheridan who can't seem to get into the team.

Question: Are we a better side having signed Caprice and Marshall than if we had kept Gray and Sheridan instead?

Simple answer NO, they were both very reliable to have as subs, Gray with his long throw and steady as a full back & Sheridan could play anywhere and you would know he wouldn't let the team down. which I can't say the same about Caprice & Marshall

Puts head on block....I saw Sheridan about a dozen times, he impressed me more with his effort than his product, but I would have thought he was an ideal squad player. However neither are doing a lot at Alfreton so maybe Simmo got it right.

Two very interesting replies so far; both with differing views.

Before I comment, what do the rest of you think?
