So unlucky today - alot more grit and determination and a good formation. 2nd half we soaked up so much pressure and inviting them on like we did, we were always likely to be caught, especially as the're so quick up front. But we hit the bar early in the 2nd half and had a couple of other chances

Strange subs, when Wright was subbed Dodds was limping and thought he might have come off for Ollie. Between then Dodds and Wright did really well and bode well for the future together. Stalls injured from Mk and Forrester injured during the week in training, though heard from someone ITK that he wouldn't have been selected anyway.

So close - ARRRGGHHHHH!

Credit where it's due today, we fought hard, battled for every ball and had some decent chances particuarly first half.

Just thought we lost it when we brought Torpey and Ryan on, couldn't hold anything up for us, and never won a challenge. However, let's not forget Posh have signed 1m worth of players with the last year, and if that's 1 million pounds were of talent, then we aren't too far behind.

The only disappointed was only 3300 City fans, thought we could have mustered 4k at least - but results will hopefully bring the fans back.

Can't understand why we took the front 2 off at all - please don't get me started on Torpey, on for 15 mins and even Keates won a header against him!! Someone close by said they thought it was Easter as his boots were nailed to the pitch!

But yeah, alot better - potential managers will be queueing up Mon after that display, not brilliant - but alots of effort and endeavour. Just a shame we didn't see those performances under Scoey

Excellent for 80 minutes and should have scored at least one more in that time.

I thought that Beevers and Brown were solid at the back and the combination of Dodds and Wright up front was as good as any partnership we have tried this season.

It always feels like a defeat when the opposition score near the end, but there are a lot of positives to come out of it. Lets hope we can keep it going and we get a few more Imps fans at the Bank.

A gutsy and at times skilful performance. I think he'd have done better to have bought N'Guessen on up front, to be honest. I do hope the new manager will see the last of Torpey and Ryan: they simply aren't good enough.

Having said that, I don't feel as strongly about Torpey as the two chaps behind me who came to blows over his substitution.

Very encouraging stuff overall, though. It shows that Schofield had taken a decent enough squad of players and turned them into a poor team indeed.

"Help, help I'm being repressed!"

Agreed - should have brought DNG on

Lots of very good performances today.
If you play with that intensity for 70 minutes it does leave you vulnerable when you tire at the end though.

Kerr was outstanding for a change - I just wish he could pass it better.

The most determined performance for a while, a little unlucky to drop 2 points. Back 4 looked like they knew what they were doing for most of the match, but then that is probably because they were not played out of position.

They were definitely together as a team, was pleasantly surprised by Wright - he gave them gip up front, ran his heart out and didn't let them settle. Again agree with other comments that DNG on for last 10 mins would have scared them, but by then we were hanging on for the win and hoping not too concede - does feel like a defeat, but fair play to Boro they have quality in depth, pace and kept going to the end - just a shame that we could only match them for 89 mins!! Good foundation to build on and start climbing up the league.

Thought a few players had their best home games of the season today, including Brown, Kerr and Croft, the latter I thought was especially good.

As others say, very odd substitutions. Hard to say they cost us the game for sure but they certainly removed any goal threat that we had. I hope the new manager shows Torpey the door as quickly as possible. Dany would have been handy just to pressure their defenders in the last 10 minutes and run down the channels.

Can only assum that Torpey was brought on to hold the ball upfield and stop it coming back to us so quickly and often. Trouble is, he can't even do what he supposed to be able to do and give possession away more than any other player.

Maybe 5 years ago, but he just hasn't got the legs, and as for Ollie Ryan I am afraid his standard is probably Gainsborough Trinity.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't it Torpey that gave the ball away when they went on the attack and equalised. I am not wholly blaming Torpey as they still had a long way to go, but had the ball been held up they would not have had the chance to attack.

We should swap him for Trinity striker Paul Clayton, a kid with a lot more potential...

i agree regarding the substitutions we lost any threat we had and handed the momemtum to them. Credit to Brown for his starting 11; very poor decision for the subs in last 10. I have nothing against Torpey but I'm pretty sure I could beat him over 100 meters and I'm giving him 5-6 years advantage. It must be his last game...please new manager

overall a very positive performance

thought we were everything we needed to be today

basics were their ie organised and hardworking

not as pretty as a Schofield side but unfortunately getting spanked every week and looking pretty isn't what gets football clubs promoted

Croft was superb followed closely by Brown and Kerr whilst Dodds ran his socks off

The one thing it proved was that it wasn't that we had bad defenders during Schoey's tenure just an exposed rearguard due to nieve tactics

Come on the board lets get the right man in this time and move the team on the pitch forward

This is a huge decision lets hope we don't let a good manager pass us by with our penny pinching

And how many times has that happened?

He even got caught offside from a goal-kick

It makes a pleasant change to agree with you Harry.

Spending money on the right manager to my mind is far more important than splashing out on an individual player. Get the right manager and hopefully the rest will follow...

I thought it was a back 5 yesterday!

We've got (another) new manager. Will he be a very good manager? I do hope so.
