Was told at the game yesterday by the steward I know very well that Jackson was scheduled to have an interview after the Posh match around 6pm. He also mentioned the likes of Stimson and Paul Mitchell from Gainsborough as potential managers, but Mitchell surprised me out of his list. No reason to doubt him, at least with the names like Brian Little confirmed, and then people of the calibre of Jackson and Stimson (who is highly regarded), we are looking at appointing a manager with some experience/record.

Live for Lincoln City and Poker, one is a gamble, a nerve jangling roller coaster of few highs with many lows and bad beats, the other is a card game.

Sorry mate your steward friend is no where near.
The Board werent seeing anyone Saturday- meetings are planned for this week.
Mitchell never ever in the frame
Little and Jackson in the frame. Stimson may have been in the frame but almost definitely going to Gillingham - seems a done deal.
How do I know? You should have attended the Ref's forum!!! or ask a Supporter Director!

Don't shoot the messenger mate, only saying what I was told!

He was maybe told this from someone else as I really have no reason to doubt him. I think Little, Jackson and Stimson were all either looked at or applied. Agreed about Mitchell though, I doubt he would have ticked many of the SW boxes

I did ask a supporter director who also mentioned Newell. He also said that there was a good chance that GB would be in charge next Saturday.

From what I was told at the forum, there is indeed a good chance that GB will be in charge next Saturday.Especially with interviews going into the latter part of the week.Although I suspect our next manager will be sat in the stands watching the game.

I just hope that after all these names have been mentioned, and with the obvious calibre of some of them, we aren't left disappointed when the new man is announced.

Grant has said privately and publicly he doesnt want to be manager.

I think he has done exceptionally well all week - but lets be honest we all knew the first move was to play players in their 'proper' positions.

Don't mind him being in charge next Saturday, but as longer term, and as he's already said himself no thanks.

Talking of next Saturday, where is everyone going for a pre match pint ??

Has Griffin Park still got a pub on every corner?

Brentford were my local club when I was just down the road in Isleworth, I best not go because I'll probably accidentally go into the home end!

Spoke to a Brentford fan on Friday who said the old away end is now for home supporters, and has a roof over it. The away supporters are now in the old Wendy House as he put it? Good view though, so he said!

Just going back to the original topic about Jackson, I hope he has an interview, certainly the most popular choice amongst supporters. Many Huddersfield fans would have him back at the drop of a hat, after being dismiised in contreversial circumstances.
