The Trust are not posting from a position of anonimity on a message board, at least I know who I am talking to when it is at the club. Would you care to tell us who you are honestimp, so we can ask you relevant questions, and to decide for ourselves if you have an agenda?

I assume you are expecting an "Honest" answer?

You'll be bloody lucky to get any answer at all I suspect...

I challenge anybody to read the posts of HonestImp and find a better description than "Agenda"

I think thats the same with a lot of people BJM - on both sides of the debate.

Just a word of warning to certain posters.

Please be aware that this thread is being closely monitored and if anyone oversteps the mark, it will be locked and possibly deleted.

We've got (another) new manager. Will he be a very good manager? I do hope so.

Another hit-and-run post by HonestImp, who loves starting threads with baseless nonsense, but then never joins in again, or answers any of the questions put to him. I think we can all draw our own conclusions about what sort of person that makes him, frankly.

Can I suggest we take Redckanger's advice and ignore his posts from now on?

And what are those "conclusions"?
You are very good at the personal abuse Mr Forever, yet you yourself have nothing to say. Unfortunately my views aren't based on being servile or sycophantic. Are yours? I enjoy reading the responses, is that a crime?

I said people can reach their own. As to mine, I dislike hit-and-run posters as it means no debate is possible with the person opening the thread. I think that is pointless on a messageboard, and frankly rude to the people who take the time to respond to the opening post. That clear enough for you?

You obviously haven't read many of my posts, then. Not that I'm suprised, as you just post and booger off, don't you?

Unfortunately my views aren't based on being servile or sycophantic.

Oh please, get over yourself.

HonestImp, a couple of questions. Firstly, do you believe that supporter representation on the board is a good or a bad thing? Secondly, if you believe it to be a good thing what model do you propose to elect this representation?

The trust may not be perfect but it does have clear democratic rules and any member could be elected as the representative via an open process. The democratic process means the candidates you support could be elected, equally they may not. I personally can't see a more reasonable process but if you have grievances with the current approach, what is the alternative?

That's more like it, Eddie. Sensible questions and nothing personal. Well done.

If only others could follow your example!

Time for the moderators before things again get out of hand.

It is sad that for certain posters, the whole point of this board is to wind others up. Far better in the future that if you think someone is doing this, just put: "yawn, yawn, yawn..................."

If you are bothered about the Trust then join it. I'm not, so I don't.

I am a bit like Mighty in my views and would quite like to see some different faces on the Board. That said, during the last few weeks the Board and Steff Wright have done what I wanted and have to an extent gone up in my estimation. They will go up more so if they employ one of the four "known" managers who have been suggested.

I am pleased to read of Mighty's comments regarding David Beck. It sounds as if he is doing something to canvas the fans and get their opinions, hopefully those will get back to the Board.

That does not mean I would not love to see Rob Bradley back in the fold, or some of Ray Trew's money invested, but not via a plc or property involvement. I once wanted Erica Roe back, oops!! I mean Keith, but not now, he seems to have such a chip on his shoulder and could have done so much more to make things more harmonious at the Club.

I'm sure Rob Bradley would be welcomed back by most people, but wasn't it his own choice to step down, in order to concentrate on his architecture business?

I remember having a rather lenghty chat with Rob Bradley during a pre-season friendly at Bourne some years ago. What an amzing man he is. I was very sad when he felt he had to give up the mantle.

It was indeed a sad day when Rob felt he had to leave the mantle.I also feal that since he's left the club have missed an opportunity to replace him with someone who reached to the supporters and actively talked to them.Although at present it looks like more effort is now being made in this direction.Certainly David Beck is very approachable if anyone wishes to speak to him,and from my chat with him,if he's allowed to discuss issues he will do and will answer you honestly and truthfully without any spin.
Hopefully more board members will open up and face the supporters to chat openly and friendly with ALL supporters, not just those supporters lucky enough to be able to afford to go in the executive suite.

Communication has been the main problem area for the board since Rob left. To be fair Rob was extremely good (talented in fact) at using the media and general PR. It was a tough act to follow. As you say, hopefully these areas are being addressed: David B has the right sort of qualities to communicate.

I'd agree with both those points. I've chatted to Dave Beck occasionally ove rthe years, and he seems a genuine supporter with a down-to-earth approach to the Club. I'd also agree that other Directors should make the same effort as Dave.

On that point, though, I've chatted to Steff Wright the odd time or two at the Club, and he has always seemed pretty open as well. Whether he still frequents the bars and chats as he used to, I can't say, as I tend to head of straight after a game.

i have found that if you make the effert to talk to directors and staff you get an answer maybe it is becouse i have been round the world and have talked to all makes ,it seems to make it much better to get on with people but ther are still some i can not and would not want to talk to.
