Ha!

I know who's fault it was but I also know that there should be collective responsibility when things go wrong. All Board members, and I mean all, have run for cover on this one and its a shame because, as I said earlier, its not really a huge mistake just a smallish one.

TGD Just so we can both sleep tonight, I do understand how to run a business, and can assure you I accept my share of any responsibility for errors made during my period in office at LCFC.

Well, that's good. Perhaps some people on here could now extend the same courtesy to Steff Wright and the current Board should they make the usual human errors we all do, too.

I have been quite surprised at some of the good things the current board has done. Could things have been done any better? We might never know...

We've got (another) new manager. Will he be a very good manager? I do hope so.

You know, the truth is that whoever ran the Board there would always be some malcontents. To be fair, that is the style of democracy!

Well I hope this makes the sell on for Hobbs a little more clear. Quote from Steff Wright in his Q&A session:

Question:
Steff, if Jack Hobbs does move to Leicester or another club will Lincoln stand to gain from the sale?

Answer:
We will be entitled to 25% of the sell on fee over and above the figure which Liverpool paid us. For example, if Jack moves for £550,000 we will receive £100,000. Let’s hope he moves for £5m!!

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.

Hit it.

That also says to me that we got £150,000 for Hobbs. That was also my question that was answered.

It does seem fairly clear we received the £150K, and will get 25% of any future transfer fee over £150K, so not sure where the £650K figure came from!

That would suggest Posh was wrong and Keith Roe was right. Although I'm a bit baffled as to how Steff Wright is quite happy to reveal this but Keith Roe fels it is a breach of confidentiality? Genuine question, btw, not a dig.

Possibly the confidentiality also involves Liverpool: I wonder if Steff asked their permission?

In the Nannested history book, they mention that it's Football league regulations that all transfer fees are confidential; does anyone know if this is still the case?

Surely they show up in the accounts?

Do they appear as individual transactions or as total sums?

I doubt it matters with the amount being banded about. It would not take much working out given the number of players we have sold.

Think that is a bit of a dig and that the answer is obvious. Keith Roe is no longer a Director so the information is not his to give and if it was confidential at the time, he does not now have the right to change it. Steff is the Director and thus controls that information from the Lincoln end and can do what he likes with it (subject to any issues Liverpool may have)

You can think what you like, but it was a genuine question as I stated and not a dig. Your answer seems to make sense.

How do you infer that, then?

I have never called anyone a liar on here (or any message board for that matter) nor would I.

Steff has said what the deal is and you are still saying wait and see.
