I think he's more of a shadowy string-puller who prefers to remain in the back-ground orchestrating dissent (to what actual purpose, I'm not sure). Added to which, is he actually interested in football? He never seems to post about it...

But he is obviously interested in Lincoln City and who runs it.....therefore he has an opinion and it is football related, indeed Imps.

Maybe he's a frustrated politician.

Steve used to be very anti- the current board, but he seems to have mellowed somewhat, at least in the way he says things. At one point he used to cause no end of arguments on MBs and the like!

Seemed a decent enough chap, met him a few times at forums etc. Will Steveimp be the new chairman or maybe the thinker will go for it?

Oh when the Imps go marching in, I want to be in that number!

Maybe Steve has had every right to have been anti? Now maybe he sees a way forward?
Instead of repeatedly bringing the past up,how about trying to move forward?
Or is that beyond some people?

Well, it was clearly beyond Steve for a very long time.

Of course people are not allowed a different opinion to the party line are they!!
Its that sort of post that gets my goat, you and others seem to think that just because you have an opinion then thats all that matters.
Maybe just maybe thats the problem with the cosy trust/club board relationship {As it seems from the outside}Theres nothing wrong with having a good relationship but is appears that its always so nicey nicey.Maybe some people need to have their own ideas heard rather than being rail roaded by so few, your post rather sumed it up.

Careful on that high horse SP!

Surely the whole point of debating football on boards such as this is that there are healthy disagreements and strongly held opinions on both sides. I see no evidence to suggest that BJM or anyone else on here has not "allowed" anyone to have a different opinion to theirs. However, if they disagree with those opinions or they lack coherence then surely people can challenge them.

I'm on the outside and I don't see the relationship between the Board and the Trust as being cosy. I think the Board listen to what the Trust says and have, by and large, run the club in the way the Trust would like it to be run. What you and a few others cannot stomach is that people actually think that the Board/Trust do a decent job given difficult circumstances and have contributed to making this club a better club than it was 6 years ago.

Don't get me wrong, the playing side has not been good over the past 2 seasons and the Board/Trust have to address this but I defy anyone to show evidence that the Board/Trust hasn't backed the playing side of the club with as many resources as we can possibly afford over the past few season.

What a surprise, anyone would think you ring each other up saying "look on the message board and post blah blah blah the board can do no wrong"
I have never known so many post so much "the club board is brill etc etc on message boards."Its like a self appreciation society?!

Youre asuming once more TGD that I can not stomach the board ?How do you know my feelings, maybe just maybe my previous post was correct "Maybe some people need to have their own ideas heard rather than being rail roaded by so few, your post rather sumed it up"

Well Southparker I would think that any regular visitor to this board over the past two years would have read your posts and come to the conclusion that you were not a supporter of the current board (and that I am). If that is a wrong assumption then those posts over the years under the name of "Southparker"denigrating Steff Wright, the Trust and others must have come from an imposter. Maybe Posh Imp should undertake an investigation?

I'll let you into a little secret SP. I don't know who BJM is, I've never knowlingly met him and never spoken to him but, boy, does he speak some sense!

You seem to have decided you knew what mine were from one sentence and yet you question how somebody is expected to know yours. Applying one principle when it suits you and conveniently forgetting to when it doesn't.

You'll end up tying yourself in paranoid knots if you're not careful.

Sorry, maybe that didn't come accross very well. I wasn't "bringing up the past". I actually admire how he has seen a way forward. I think he's a good, reasonable bloke with the best interests of the club at heart.
