Of course people are not allowed a different opinion to the party line are they!!
Its that sort of post that gets my goat, you and others seem to think that just because you have an opinion then thats all that matters.
Maybe just maybe thats the problem with the cosy trust/club board relationship {As it seems from the outside}Theres nothing wrong with having a good relationship but is appears that its always so nicey nicey.Maybe some people need to have their own ideas heard rather than being rail roaded by so few, your post rather sumed it up.
Careful on that high horse SP!
Surely the whole point of debating football on boards such as this is that there are healthy disagreements and strongly held opinions on both sides. I see no evidence to suggest that BJM or anyone else on here has not "allowed" anyone to have a different opinion to theirs. However, if they disagree with those opinions or they lack coherence then surely people can challenge them.
I'm on the outside and I don't see the relationship between the Board and the Trust as being cosy. I think the Board listen to what the Trust says and have, by and large, run the club in the way the Trust would like it to be run. What you and a few others cannot stomach is that people actually think that the Board/Trust do a decent job given difficult circumstances and have contributed to making this club a better club than it was 6 years ago.
Don't get me wrong, the playing side has not been good over the past 2 seasons and the Board/Trust have to address this but I defy anyone to show evidence that the Board/Trust hasn't backed the playing side of the club with as many resources as we can possibly afford over the past few season.
