More chaos at county http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/notts_county/8497155.stm

Winding up order for unpaid taxes must still be valid according to that, just when they appeared to be safe it turns out there wasn't money to settle their debts after all.

It's all up hill from here !

Brian i was told last week PT was bluffing and betting on a cup run to pay the debts off, thats paid off but the taxman has fixed in stone the next court date and there cannot be anymore.
Marstons wanted to proceed with the winding up order as County owe 95k to them that was another contract that PT tried to rip up.

Marstons 95k,that would be a fair amount of ale.
Sounds feasible that re the cup run, time running out perhaps.

Only 5,519 turned up tp witness the replay. Not much extra revenue there, then!

For winning their fourth round encounter, they only earned £90,000 in prize money. Add to that the £112,500 they have earned from the previous three rounds, and they have still only earned £202,500 in prize money.

Now, if they should be awarded a live tv game in the next round against Fulham, they will earn another £247,500 and, should that one go to a replay and it was also televised, another £123,750 would come their way. Win that and the prize money swells by another £180,000.

So, if my scenario did happen, they would have increased their minimum earnings to £750,750 and maybe that should be enough to satisfy their creditors? Plus, they would have the chance of earning another £247,500 should they appear live on tv and another £360,000 if they win that game!!! Notwithstanding gate receipts!!

It just makes you realise what a (very) good FA Cup run can bring in finncially! If only we could do it!

We've got (another) new manager. Will he be a very good manager? I do hope so.

Well, we had a half-decent one (for us) this season.
