I don't understand this obsession about Grimsby getting relegated.

I'm more interested in Lincoln's survival and won't rest easy until it's mathematically impossible for us to go down.

There seems to be a preoccupation on other boards about Grimsbys demise such to the extent that some posters weren't actually bothered whether we won today or not. Strange.............

Yeah - we could need the points ourselves yet and today hasn't filled me with confidence that we'll get many more.

Many reasons Luke ,things that have happened in the past that make people turn their opinions and perhaps that much that a defeat that puts them a step closer to the BSP is kind of worth it to them.
Not everyone has the same mindset personally i hate to lose any game and over the past 3 poor seasons come away from the bank livid when the team has surrendered so easily.

I have none of the hatred that some have for other clubs. I like to be above Grimsby and indeed see them get beaten, but it well be money lost as far as the imps are concerned from yet another derby if they go down.Don't want to see a decently supported club go down myself because many of the clubs that get promotion from the BSP don't have good support.
Hate as far as footy is concerned is a wasted emotion, serves no purpose,it's not as though they are murderers or pedophiles, just encourages problems IMO.
I live and work with Cods, businesses and families, they are different only by the shirts having black stripes instead of red. Sure we like to poke fun at one another,it's just banter, same as on here, personal insults and goading are out of place.
Can remember when supporters mingled freely, now there is segregation it seems to encourage confrontation in some bizarre way, must be the caged effect.

It's all up hill from here !

You have it easy then with only friends as GY fans my Mum and Dad support them and quite a few relatives do as well.
You cannot get away from the personnal insults it's a common placed thing in society.
On someones facebook it was a common thing for the gimps fans to be refered to as inbred, that i hate and i hated it when imps fans called Boston fans it.
That to me sums up peoples mentality and is just in front of the who are you chant.
Your not telling me that a foofball fan travels 140 miles gets to his destination and does not know who they are playing.

Didn't get that last point.
We all see it slightly different angles,I have a customer with two dogs, one called Buckley and the other Raffa, poor soul, both teams are carp so life is not good for him at the minute.
How come you ended up supporting City, parents are the reason I support the imps.
Are you still biking at all?

Football fans singing who are you is a chant i hate as i find it banal.
My mates took me to see city in the conference and it started from there.
Biking no i never can find the time, been organising the fans football matches and training.
Working from home and having 4 boys to look after consumes my time.
Then trying to run the fans shares scheme as well thats enough for me.

It makes tomorrow's game even more important in that we could really do with the three points. Mind you, I'd rather have lost at Cheltenham and beat Morecambe than draw both games and have kept the unbeaten run going.

We've got (another) new manager. Will he be a very good manager? I do hope so.

There is no obsession or gloating regarding Grimsby from me, I was just stating a fact.

I would much rather Torquay went down as we need local derby games to increase crowd numbers. As we know relegation is a terrible experience and we were fortunate to get straight back up.

From the way Sutton was speaking on the radio I would expect a big reaction as he wasnt happy with the second half no show.
My brother went said we were terrible, typical as I told him how good we have been of late especially last week!
7 left 4 of which are at home.
The away games all look tough but you never know.

Crowds against the cods have been poor in the last few seasons we've struggled to break 5000. I think one season it was less than 4500.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow, but I do hope they kick towards the South Park stand first half, unlike recent games.
